Make a poll people can answer.

Create your poll

1. Open Takelet and choose Ask a question or the question prompt.
2. Write one clear question. Add at least two answers, or choose a yes/no or true/false preset.
3. Choose single choice for one answer per person, or multiple choice when more than one answer can fit. Set the maximum number of choices.
4. Choose whether to leave the poll open or set a closing time, then publish.

Choose answers that make sense together

For a question like “What should we do on Saturday?”, answers might be “Go for a walk”, “Watch a film” and “Cook together”. Use multiple choice if you want people to pick every option they would enjoy.

Keep answers distinct. Avoid two options that mean the same thing. Add “Something else” or “Not sure” when those would be honest answers.

Share it

Open the poll's share button to share or copy its link. People can open the link and vote without creating an account. Supported messaging apps show a preview of the question and its answers.

Read the results

Results appear after you vote or choose See results. In a multiple-choice poll, percentages count people who voted, so they can add up to more than 100%.

These are votes from people who chose to take part. They are not a representative survey of everyone.

Change or close a poll

You can edit the question and answers before the first vote. Once someone has voted, those settings stay locked, even if the vote is later withdrawn. You can close voting early from the poll's menu.
